Winters Area Foundation Scholarships

The Winters Area Foundation has designated these scholarships for Winters High School. By applying to the Winters Area Foundation Scholarship you will also be applying to the Floyd Hodge, the Pearl Jackson, the Eula M. Kruse, the Dr. Jimmy Smith and the Mary Louise Bauer Scholarships.

Supplemental Questions
  1. Have you attended Winters High School for the past two years (including your senior year)?
  2. Please provide a goal statement (150 words) explaining why you want to attend college and why you should be selected as the recipient. What are your plans after finishing college and what do you hope to accomplish with your education?
  3. Letter #1: Please provide the name and email address of an adult who knows your character and will submit a letter of reference on your behalf. (No relatives.) Prior to typing in the name and email address of your reference provider, please make sure to contact the individual to ensure they are willing to serve as a reference. Additionally, you may reuse references in subsequent scholarships if appropriate. To prevent multiple requests from going to the same reference provider, please select the previously solicited reference from the “Choose existing reference” drop-down menu. Each time you type in the name and email address of a reference provider, a NEW request is sent to that person.

    To monitor whether your reference provider has provided the requested information, once you have specified a reference provider at least once, the “References” menu will appear in the top navigation menu. Simply navigate to that tab and you will see all references specified. “Requested” means that the reference provider has not yet supplied the requested information whereas “Submitted” means that your reference provider has completed his/her reference. By clicking “Resend”, you can remind the reference providers to complete the request.
